🎄 Holiday Stoneware Serving Set Workshop ✨ Join guest artist Andra Bouman and the talented team at MHC Pottery for a festive two‑part holiday workshop where you’ll create and hand‑paint a stunning stoneware serving set.

Andra is a skilled painting artist with a beautiful eye for color, pattern, and design. She’ll help you plan and paint a custom holiday‑themed set—or guide you toward a timeless design you can enjoy all year long. Her creative approach makes this workshop welcoming for beginners and inspiring for seasoned makers.

✨ What You'll Create

You'll design and create a custom stoneware serving set, choosing from one of the following options:

• Four 7" x 7" serving plates (including your painted sample plate)
• Two 7" x 7" serving plates and one 7" x 12" serving platter

Each piece will feature your own hand-painted black and white decorative design, creating a unique collection you'll be proud to display, use, or gift.

✨ Part 1: Design & Build Your Collection

During the first session, Andra will demonstrate and provide step-by-step instruction as you design and hand-paint your first 2 7" x 7" serving plates.

You'll also:

• Learn decorative colorful painting techniques
• Create your sample plate that will inspire the rest of your collection
• Work alongside the MHC girls to roll out stoneware clay slabs
• Shape your serving pieces using forms and pottery tools
• Prepare your pieces for firing

Your work will then be professionally fired and prepared for the second session.

⏰ Session Length: Approximately 2 to 2½ hours

✨ Part 2: Paint & Complete Your Set

Return to complete your beautiful collection as Andra guides you through painting your bisque-fired pieces using the techniques introduced during the first class.

You'll:

• Finish decorating your serving pieces
• Refine your designs and details
• Bring your collection together as a cohesive handmade set
• Create a functional work of art that's perfect for entertaining or gifting
